    My car

This is a car that so many overlook, but once experienced it can't fail to impress. However in the current credit crunch times its hard to find another vehicle that does as much as the Berlingo does for its price, in terms of space, ride, practicality, comfort, equipment and toys and the simple ease of use. And guess what, in XTR trim the words most commonly heard are that it looks funky, well designed, and to many eyes stylish in a way form and function add up to more than their common parts. With Co2 of just 140 and after 6000 miles an average of 48.6mpg and low insurance costs the Berlingo has been a joy to own. What has surprised is how these figures coincide with good useable performance (the 110 diesel engine is a joy to use). With no remedial or warranty work needed and no rattles or creaks the quality impresses, you get the impression its built to last! With its high driving position you get 4x4 positioning on the road without any of the associated costs, oh and it was quite good in the snow! My biggest surprise is how useful the hill holder is and how user friendly the speed limiter and cruise control are, far more intuitive than most cars. This car seems to do what it says on the tin.....and so much more, for once a car that simply exceeds expectations. While magazines seem to consistently afford 3 stars to the Berlingo. It’s interesting that owners seems to stick with 4 or 5 stars. I guess that’s the ultimate accolade when you have paid your own mone

    My car

Had this ex-demo since September 2008 and it's a fantastic motor. Spacious, comfortable and economical (average 42.8mpg). Roadholding is good considering the high centre of gravity (and its amusing to be eye-to-eye with Range Rover drivers and look down on 's' max drivers). Now done 12,000 miles and due a service but no warranty issues have arisen. Take the seats out of the back and there is probably as much space as an early transit.
